Healthy Eating

Snacks and Lunchtimes

We make snack times and lunch times a social time where children connect with others and learn table manners whilst learning new social skills and developing communication. Our children are also given lots of opportunities during meal times to develop their independence, preparing them for the next stages in life.

We plan the menus for snacks so that they provide the children with healthy and nutritious food as well as encouraging parents to provide their child with a healthy lunchbox to ensure that children get the nutrients and energy their bodies need to grow, work properly, work properly, maintain a healthy weight and feel good, improving their overall well being.

Please tell us about your child's dietary needs, particularly any known allergies or food intolerance and we will plan accordingly.

Sticky Fingers Pre-school's have a strict NO NUTS Policy in order to keep our children and staff safe.

We encourage parents to provide children with a healthy lunchbox, if you would like support with this please speak to a member of staff.
